What's up this weekend in Toronto?
For all you Toronto families with elementary aged kids at the TDSB getting through your second four day weekend in a row, I feel you.
What can you do if you aren’t jetting out of town and big crowds at museums aren’t your thing.
Here’s what we have been up to and will be doing to fill the days.
This movie. I feel like I’ve been waiting for it my whole life. It did not disappoint and my teenager laughed at me while I cried at several points during the movie.
Head up to King City today and check out the Princess Margaret Lottery Showhome. This is not your “charming” house in the city. At almost 10,000 square feet I’m not entirely sure what you’d do with all the space. Tickets are selling fast and of course, going to a great cause. The kids loved checking out all the rooms and special touches. Open noon - five Sunday, closed Monday. (This is the basement TV room!)
Skating. Now that it isn’t -20 we’ll be hitting our favourite outdoor skating rink. With over 50 outdoor rinks open in Toronto this weekend, there is something for everyone.
Our kids love going to check out the Winter Stations at Woodbine beach. (And the burger we get afterwards). Opens tomorrow!
We’ll be making a mess in the kitchen tomorrow afternoon and plan on making these muffins for easy breakfasts this week.
Whatever you found yourself doing this weekend, we hope it was fun!
