Amazing clients of ours just purchased a home in this high energy, family centric 'hood. The area we call Bloor West Village / High Park North runs along Bloor Street West from the South Kingsway to Keele Street and is well known for it's proximity to subway stations, shopping & restaurants and the city's famous High Park. There is a lot happening in this neighbourhood and the residents are very proud of their 'village' in the city. If you are lucky enough to call this area home, get involved with the Resident's Association and be a part of all that is going on to preserve the charm and character of this great area.
West End Toronto Real Estate Market Update - March 2018
The Toronto Real Estate Board has released the March numbers and we have been busy analyzing and summarizing the results for you. Here is the lowdown on how the west end Toronto real estate market is faring. If you would like to compare these results to February's numbers, you can find them here.
What Does All This Mean??
After watching numerous newscasts about the Toronto real estate market and the March numbers coming out of TREB, I have had a number of clients say that their impression is the market is softening and that it is becoming a buyer's market. That may be true in some parts of the city, but is certainly not the case in the west end, particularly in MLS districts w01 and w02. In these areas, we are regularly seeing aggressive bidding wars and even bully offers. In w06, w07 and w08, the market is not quite as aggressive, but is still very healthy. We are still suffering from a severe lack of inventory, so if you are considering a move, now is a great time to sell.If you would like further insight into the current market conditions, or if you would like to know how we would approach the sale of your home differently, feel free to get in touch!
