The east end may have the Beaches, but along the west end shores of Lake Ontario sits our own lakefront neighbourhoods, and they are nothing to scoff at! Here is a snapshot of what makes Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch such fantastic places to live, eat & play!

Outdoor living inspiration

actors-actress-adults-1666467.jpg

Ok, to be clear, it is snowing while I write this post. However, last Saturday night, in true Canadian style we had drinks out back with our neighbours. As soon as it's above zero, they are up for outdoor happy hour. We bundled up, had blankets and enjoyed several hours catching up and enjoying the fresh air. For six months of the year, we get to expand our living space in to the great outdoors.

Every year the outdoor living design/decor market expands and gets better. You can match up to the inside of your home or experiment with a totally different style. We are bringing you some inspiration this week for warmer weather, outdoor living and taking advantage of whatever outdoor space you have. Use an outdoor rug to anchor the space and bring in pattern and colour. Pillows, throws and candles will add texture and more pops of colour. Here are our favourite four looks for summer 2019.

Get creative and use lots of colour. Potted plants are an instant way to change the look and feel of your outdoor space. (And you don't have to be patient waiting for everything to turn green!) We'll come back next month with some outdoor dining inspiration for you. Have fun out there!
